What Sets Us Apart?
You will be seen by your physiotherapist in a private room, you will be their only patient during your appointment time. Meaning that their whole focus will be on you and they won’t be running between you and other patients during your appointment.
Initial appointments are scheduled for an hour and follow-up appointments for 40-45mins. These longer appointment times allow your physiotherapist to delve into your injury in more detail, conduct a more thorough assessment and carry out more hands-on treatment and/or rehab in each session… all of which will fast-track your recovery!
Our physiotherapists are experienced and dedicated to their ongoing development and learning. They conduct regular inservice sessions and attend courses and conferences to stay at the fore-front of the physiotherapy profession. Our physios are also experienced with adolescent injuries and pre and post-natal management, areas that not all physios are confident in treating!
Our HICAPS terminal means you can claim your private health fund rebate on the spot. Medicare rebates (associated with an CDM program from your GP) can also be claimed on the spot
Alison is our practice manager and she is always happy to help and assist you. Whether that’s chasing up a scan result, ringing around specialists for available appointments or nursing your baby so you can get through the end of your session, she is always there to lend a hand!
Physiotherapists are primary healthcare providers, so you don’t need a referral to see a physiotherapist. The exception would be patients who are being treated under Work Cover, Third Party, DVA or Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plans, where you will need your GP referral and other paperwork related to your claim.

Though there are a number of potential factors that may contribute to the development of plagiocephaly and torticollis in an infant, there are ways it can be avoided or prevented 😁
It is important to encourage activities that promote early head control, such as:
- Cradling your baby's head in the middle when they are awake and alert.
- Gently talk or sing to your baby to encourage them to keep their head there.
- Once your baby is able to maintain eye contact, catch their attention and slowly move back and forth, allowing them to follow your face by turning their head.
- Offer early tummy time by placing them on your chest and encouraging them to lift their head.

When gauging whether an infant is suffering from plagiocephaly and/or toriticollis, parents may notice 🤔:
- Their baby prefers to turn their head to one side (e.g. towards the right) when sleeping or at other times when positioned on their back.
- Their baby can't keep their head turned in the opposite direction (e.g. towards the left).
- Their baby has a head tilt
- Their baby has a misshapen head (i.e. the back of the head is flattened in appearance)
